d’Or: “gold / golden”, an homage to Burgundy’s Côte d’Or which shares a similar parallel and growing characteristics, an ode to the Oregon Trail which terminated just 13.6 miles north of us, and, of course, the abbreviation of our state name

We discovered our golden oasis in late 2021 and are in the midst of planting Pinot Meunier and Pinot Blanc grapes. We plan to launch a line-up of expertly crafted, boutique wines that showcase the unique, avant-garde flavors of the Willamette Valley with a hint of French flare

Becca grew up in Napa Valley at Au Sommet amongst the vines and animal menagerie— she enjoyed sampling wines and spending her weekends trekking to various 4-H events. She was inspired by the creativity and panache of her parents as they worked alongside the land to craft an array of the Valley’s top wines (including Prêt à Boire, Becca’s favorite pictured above). She later completed her undergraduate degree at Cornell University, minoring in wine

Phillipe “Lipe” was raised in Los Angeles. His family immigrated to the US from Mexico, leaving behind their ranch in Zacatecas to pursue the American Dream. One grandparent picked oranges in California’s Central Valley; another learned gardening from Japanese horticulturists and later was charged with installing all the bamboo at Disneyland and tending to various celebrity homes. Lipe inherited the green thumb and has been an avid tomato cultivator for years
